The Ibanez SML721-RGC has been made easy to play in every way. Its thin body sits very ergonomically on the lap, and the naturally curved strings according to the angle of the hand make playing from the upper strings completely effortless. You can get ten different sounds out of the guitar's microphones. With this guitar, you can play anything for a long time!

The fan-shaped Multi-Scale strings even out the differences in sound due to the thickness of the strings. When each string has the best sounding length for it, the guitar sounds more open and alive. It also improves playing comfort because the angle of the strings is more natural for hand and finger positions. Ibanez is the world's leading manufacturer of Multi-Scale guitars.

However, in the SML721-RGC guitar, the "light" multiscale is slightly different. The scale is normal-sized on the bass side (25.5") and shorter on the treble side (25"). This makes the guitar very comfortable to play and especially bends are easier on the upper strings.

The Mono-Rail bridge isolates the strings from each other and therefore allows them to play more clearly without the resonance of the adjacent string interfering. This is especially useful in lower pitches, when you want all the voices to sound clearly and distinctly, despite the low pitch.
